Come SHOOT FOR THE STARS with us! We
will focus our telescopes on the marvels painted in the

wonders - that the God who created everything there is -
the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the
invisible - wants a personal relationship with us! Come
join us in the clubhouse and see how God’s love for you
is OVER THE MOON!

C-Street Kids WOW Wednesdays!(From Lauren, Director of Children's Ministry)
This summer at C-Street Kids, we are starting brand new weekly activities called WOW Wednesdays! We still need some volunteers to help out when possible with these activities.. The schedule for this summer is included in this month’s edition of the Beacon and we hope that you can find an event that interests you. This is the first of many copies of this calendar that you will be receiving. I encourage you to invite your friends, relatives, children and grandchildren to join us for a great summer of fellowship!
It’s not high tech and it doesn't replace our real, free, and much larger brick-and-mortar church library, but our prayer is that this tiny structure will help us share the love of Christ through the written word, and take His Gospel message outside our church walls and into the community.
Blease Harper, one of our Gideons, wanted to bring the take-a-book, return-a-book idea to the sharing of the Gospel message, and was inspired to build a little replica of a country church to house free literature, study Bibles, devotionals, children’s books, and even CDs. The tiny yet beautiful structure is installed between the office/food pantry and church parking lots. Click here for a larger picture.
Tell your friends! Take, share, return - no record keeping, no charge! The Tiny Christian Library belongs to everybody and anyone can use it. It was created with the desire to connect our church family with our local neighbors – even those we have not yet met!
Thanks to everyone who helped in any way with this project, and especially to Blease for the construction and installation; Brenda Mangan, who painted the library and designed and lettered the Borrow, Read, Return sign; and to Jean Thomas, our librarian/steward.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7
On Sunday, May 7, the last MARK Club meeting until Fall 2017 was held. Following the meeting, the MARK Club and Bible Quest children celebrated with a program of song and praise. The program continued with special recognition awards for our fifth graders and acknowledgement of all that our children have achieved this year! Congratulations to our children, parents, grandparents, and volunteers for a wonderful year! Click here for larger picture.
MARK Club will resume for all children ages 3 through grade 5 in the fall of 2017 with meetings from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm each Sunday evening in the Family Life Center.
